The Elpis Outreach Service was founded in December 2002 and is part of the Elpis Centre which is Christian based and began in 1974. In 1982 a Voluntary Trust was set up to manage and develop the centre and in 2004 the Trust became a Company limited by guarantee, maintaining its charitable status
The Elpis Outreach Service provides accommodation in well maintained flats to young women aged 16-25, who are not yet able to sustain their own tenancies. With the support of professionally qualified and caring staff these young women are assisted towards independent living.
